What is Chapter 11
Studios?
Chapter 11 Studios is a computer game
development company based just north of
Boston, Massachusetts. Our first project
is a comedy adventure called Rise of
the Hidden Sun: A 'Rattlesnake' Jake
Dawson Adventure, which is being
made with the
Adventure Game Studio
engine. The finished game will consist
of four downloadable episodes.
Haven't you been
working this game, like, forever?
Yes. This is
a labor of love for everyone involved,
but we also have full-time jobs in the
real world. As a result, Rise of the
Hidden Sun is something we do in our
spare time. Most of the work is
done on nights and weekends. But trust
us, the finished product will be worth
the wait. In the meantime, you can
follow the game's progress on our
news page.
How much will the game
cost?
All four episodes of Rise of the
Hidden Sun will be free. No strings
attached. Our goal is to create a free,
professional-quality adventure to
showcase our talents and our commitment
to the adventure genre. We love
adventure games as much as you do.
What is Adventure Game
Studio?
Adventure Game Studio (AGS) is a
game creation program that handles basic
adventure game functions and makes game
design a lot easier than starting from
scratch. It was created by Chris Jones
and is available for free at
adventuregamestudio.co.uk. Chapter 11
Studios is using AGS to run Rise of
the Hidden Sun.
