Chapter
11 Studios is currently looking to fill the following positions on the
design team of our upcoming point 'n' click adventure game, Rise of
the Hidden Sun.
Animator
The animator will create character animations and in-game action
sequences emulating the project's established artistic style. He or she
will also have the opportunity to design and animate entirely new
characters. We are looking for traditional 2-D animators.
Pencil Artist
The pencil artist will be responsible for creating background artwork
based on our existing concept sketches and design notes, and must be
able to emulate the project's established artistic style. Access to a
scanner and familiarity with Photoshop or a similar program are
required.
Colorist
The colorist will be responsible for digitally coloring background
artwork. Proficiency with Photoshop or a similar program is a must, as
is the ability to emulate the project's established artistic style.
What about me?
Although we're not looking for anyone else in particular right now, if
you think you could contribute to our project in some way, please
drop us a line and let us know how you could help. Sorry, we're not
far enough along in development to be looking for beta testers or voice
actors yet.
Read this before you apply
Chapter 11 Studios is
not a professional game design company. We're just a bunch of people
who love adventure games.
We can't provide you with a salary or
a 401k. We can offer you a high-profile independent adventure
game
in which to showcase your
talents.
One more thing
All work
commissioned for Rise of the Hidden Sun
becomes
the property of Chapter 11 Studios. It may not be used in any other way
(except as part of the artist's portfolio) without our written
permission.
How to apply
If you're interested in joining the team, we're interested in having
you! Please send us an
email detailing your background, particular area(s) of interest in
relation to Rise of the Hidden Sun, and if possible some samples
of your work. A formal résumé is not required and probably won't even be
looked at.
